Loving is about giving thanks to God.  At FUMC, we love by giving thanks on Sunday morning Worship and often in our own in silent prayer & reflection at A Quiet Place.

We believe that there are many ways to praise God, and we strive to create a prayerful worship experience for all ages.  So, we make a conscious decision to praise God by blending well-loved standards and the contemporary.

There is an offering taken in every worship service, but visitors are welcome simply to be our guests. You should not feel compelled to give money to the church when you visit. But we also offer, at the offering time in every worship service, an opportunity to fill out a card that says “Here I Am, God” that invites you to offer yourself, or something you are planning to do in the next week, to God’s ongoing work of love and justice in the world.

You’ll see a wide variety of dress when you visit — from coats and jackets, dresses and suits to jeans and t-shirts. Be comfortable; just come.

Directly after Sunday worship (at about 11:30 am), coffee, tea and treats are served in the fellowship hall called the Terrace Room. To find out more about the church, you can chat with folks there or look through and take information about FUMC that is available in the Terrace Room hallway.
