The gathering of women has always been part of the backbone of the United Methodist Church.   At FUMC, Sacramento, we have an active unit of approximately one hundred women who have chosen to be involved in this inclusive mission organization through prayer, giving, and meeting together for study, action and service.  The entire group meets together monthly, usually for an educational program.

Many of our members choose to participate also in smaller groups, which are called "circles," where they socialize together and continue their mission of support, education and service to the local church, to the larger community, and to world beyond.

Women of all ages are welcome to participate.  Meetings for most of the circles happen during the daytime, but there is also an active circle in the evening, for working women.  We have something for everyone!
