The Old Testament for Beginners

A very basic introduction and overview of the Old Testament — for anyone who feels like they should know more before they even start! Thursdays, 5:30 p.m.– 7:00 p.m. Five weeks: Jan. 22 – March 5.  Led by Pastor Kathi.

Prayer Walk

For women who want to transform their lives through prayer, healthy eating, exercise and fellowship. A year-long study and practice, incorporating solo walks and a weekly Prayer Walk with others. Saturday mornings at 7, beginning Jan. 24 at the church. Led by Kris Errecart and Cathy Cook.

Faith & Finance

A year-long study group to explore the intersections between spirituality and decisions about money — for yourself personally, and for the church. All members of the Finance, Stewardship and Gifts & Memorials Committees are especially encouraged to be a part of this group. Second Wednesday of each month, 5:30 p.m. – 7 p.m., beginning Feb. 11. Led by Pastor Kathi.

Mastering the Mysteries of Love

Learn the ten essential relationship skills that can change how couples listen, express themselves, solve problems and relate to one another. Open to all couples, regardless of marriage status or gender. Saturday, Jan. 24, 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., plus two more Sunday afternoon sessions, dates to be determined. Led by Glenn & Gwen Tilton and Gary & Phyllis Varney.

Love & Logic for Parents

A just-forming group for parents of young-ish children, to meet once a month for fun, fellowship, and helping one another through the challenges of parenting, using the wisdom of Love & Logic. First meeting is Saturday, Jan. 31, 4:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m., at the church. Led by Teri Peterson, Cheri Nelson, and Gwen Rubio.

Coming Fully Alive as You Age

A group for people who have been alive 60+ years, to explore the positive aspects of aging and ways to live a healthier and happier life. Meets Tuesday mornings in March (3, 10, 17, 24), 10 a.m. – noon. Led by Parish Nurse Patricia Weedon.

Hallelujah!

A study of the scriptural and  musical texts from Handel’s “Hallelujah!” Chorus, from The  Messiah, in preparation for Easter. Meets Thursday mornings for five weeks, March 5 – April 2, 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Led by Director of Music Ministries Kevin Manz.

Interested in learning more about the United Methodist Church, this church,
and what membership means? A class for anyone interested in joining the church. Saturday, Feb. 7, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Led by Pastor Kathi.
