Children's Programs: Regular Sunday Morning Schedule

Before Worship - 9:15 to 10:15 a.m.

  • Children’s Enrichment - arts (music, theater, visual, movement), games, and service and mission opportunities for preschoolers through sixth grade.
  • Walk It Out - Sunday mornings in January, the “Walk It Out” multicultural dance and music program for children in grades 1-6. Led by Alyssa Dibert.
  • God and Me - Sunday mornings in February, a class for children in grades 1-3 about the basics of their Christian faith. Led by Pastor Kathi.

During Worship - 10:30 a.m.

Children go to worship in the Sanctuary with their families. After the Children’s Message, children go with their teachers to Sunday School. Parents are invited to go with their children the first time so that they know where their children are. Sunday school classrooms are located upstairs in Rooms 202B, 204 and 205. Take either stairways (near J Street or the Terrace Room) and follow the arrows to the classrooms.

Children stay in their classrooms until parents pick them up after worship. Please wait outside the classrooms until the teachers excuse the children.

  • Preschool-Kindergarten and Grades 1-3 learn Bible stories through the hands-on lessons of Godly Play.
  • Grades 4-6 continue to learn about the people, places and stories of the Bible, using hands-on and team activities.
  • Third Sunday of each month – Children’s worship, led by the church’s youth.
