Sunday Mornings Offer Something for
Each Member of the Family

Child care for babies and wobblers, ages 0-3, is available throughout Sunday mornings in our Infant Center, located just off the Terrace Room near the Sanctuary. Adult Sunday school is available for parents from 9:15 to 10:15. 

Enrichment (Before Worship) - 9:15 to 10:15 a.m.

  • Art Adventurers - Ages 3 through kindergarten (children should be potty trained). Meets upstairs in Room 202 B.
    • .Crafts, movement and music for the Christmas season.
  • Art Enrichment -  Grades 1-8. Meets upstairs in Room 203
    • Help create a Jesse Tree, a centuries-old devotion that helps children and adults to locate Jesus within the lineage of the the shepherd boy who became King of Israel. Share the experience by reading the related scriptures (PDF).
    • Dec. 13 & 17 - Tonal Bells rehearsal for Jan. 3 bell ringing.
    • Dec. 20 - Special Christmas stories, cookes and cocoa.

During Worship - 10:30 a.m.

Children ages 3 to grade 8 go to worship in the Sanctuary with their families. After the Children’s Message, children go with their teachers to Sunday school. Children stay in their classrooms until parents pick them up after worship.

  • Godly Players – Toddlers and young children, ages 2-4, are introduced to the basic ideas and stories of Godly Play. Includes movement, music and play. Class meets in Room 202 A.
  • Godly Play – Children learn stories of the Bible.
    • Children age 4 through kindergarten meet in Room 204.
    • Children in grades 1-4 meet in Room 205.
  • Middle Schoolers (grades 5-8 meet in Room 203) will use fun facts found in the Bible. Focus is on questions, discussion and reading from the Bible. Includes short-term studies that begin with life issues facing tweens and the use of the Bible to help develop skills to live as disciples of Christ. Emphasis is on community building and supporting one another.
  • Third Sunday of each month – Children’s worship, led by the church’s youth.
