As the new Director of Youth and Children Ministries, I thank you for such a fabulous welcome to First UMC Sacramento! I also want to thank those persons who volunteered many hours to keep these programs running smoothly during the time of transition.

I’ve had some familiarity with FUMC as my husband, Rev. Steve Lundin, grew up in this church. He has shared many of his fun stories and I am looking forward to having my own.

Upcoming Events for Youth and Children:

Sunday School in March –
Along with our story, ‘Art with Sandy’ will be ceramics. I understand this is a popular art activity with the children. They won’t want to miss it!

Youth in March –
On Sunday, March 6 we will have an Offering for Sierra Service Project (SSP) to help fund this summer’s youth mission trip. We will have many of the youth involved in the Worship Service this day.

We are planning various meetings with parents, teachers, and helpers / leaders, so watch for follow- up information on these.

Again, I am so excited to be here at First UMC. I hope to be able to meet as many of you as soon as possible.
